First off here is a link to the standards for 6th grade S.S.: ok.gov/sde/sites/ok.gov.sde/files/C3-SocialStudies.pdf6th grade standards are found on page 38 The following is a link to the information the State Department has put online for S.S. teachers and the new C 3 Standards: www.ok.gov/sde/social-studiesThere is a lot of information on this page. If you scroll all the way to the bottom of the page there are additional links that are recommended. Those pages also have resources that you may find helpful and in places you might not have already looked. A word of caution though. Many states have been implementing Common Core for over a year, possibly longer, and there is a wealth of information on the web for Common Core State Standards. Some of those resources are a "watered down" version of what you would want to do to represent the standards effectively.
